In order to exclude organized crime groups, members of organized crime groups, persons who have not passed five years since ceasing to be members of organized crime groups, associate members of organized crime groups, companies affiliated with organized crime groups, corporate racketeers, individuals or groups posing as social activists but actually engaging in extortion, specialized intellectual crime groups, and other similar entities (hereinafter referred to as “antisocial forces”), we establish the following basic policy.
We will respond as an entire organization to unreasonable demands from antisocial forces and ensure the safety of employees and officers who handle such matters.
In preparation for unreasonable demands from antisocial forces, we will establish close cooperative relationships with external specialized institutions such as police, violence prevention centers, and attorneys on a regular basis.
We will not maintain any relationships with antisocial forces, including business relationships. We will also reject any unreasonable demands made by antisocial forces.
We will take legal action from both civil and criminal perspectives against unreasonable demands from antisocial forces.
We will not provide funding, engage in under-the-table transactions, or offer any conveniences to antisocial forces for any reason.
Even if unreasonable demands from antisocial forces are based on business misconduct or inappropriate employee conduct, we will absolutely not engage in under-the-table transactions or provide funding to cover up such matters.
